and Wander 28 l grey X-PAC day pack (the most expensive of the bunch but also one of the more unique, well made and super super lightweight.Hyperlite Mountain Gear - black Dyneema Summit Pack(more roll tops - love them! This is my go to pack for EDC).
Adidas Future Roll Top in black X-PAC(this bag has surprised me firstly with how cheap it was in comparison to other brands using X-PAC and how well made it is too). ILE Default 28l in black X-PAC with a Cobra buckle (I LOVE this bag - commute bag, rain hail and shine so well made). Or the Outlier Quadzip, which is smaller, and just as barren in regards to pockets but it doesn’t make a great bag for travel or mud. Not to mention how a small looking bag can hold quite a lot ranging from a pair of sneakers, a 15.6 laptop, an iPad, a few magazines, headphone, charger, a change of clothes and related items. The Aer Travel Pack can hold about as much, maybe a touch more, than my GR1, yet it’s not a bag I’d ever want to use outside of overnight travel as it carries too large. Fjallraven 15” Laptop Kanken in black(thought I might like it but I do not alas.) Perhaps the finest thing about the AER Fit Pack is how it helps you keep your office essential separate from gym and day to day use. This is all about the 34L and 40L GR2 models. Or even Travel Pack 2 Small if you're relatively tall. Size First things first, the GR2 comes in three sizes, but the smallest size, the 26L, is not one I am writing about at all. its got some organization pockets, but it also has internal molle for internal org pouches, and water bottle attachments are cheap.Īer Tech Pack 2 might be an option if the main compartment is big enough for your items. I have a 2.0 but I think the 1.5 would be better for an edc and fit everything you describe.Īnother good option that I have experience with would be a GR1 21L or 26L if you're willing to customize it to your liking. You might not be into the looks but I think the Alpha One Niner Evade 1.5 might be a great pack for your needs. The laptop pocket has room for Laptop, iPad, and possibly even chargers if you have something to align your items vertically. CamelBak HAWG Hydration Backpack (US 139.11) This adaptable backpack keeps you easily hydrated on the go with an included hydration bladder, while also handling a range of day-to-day or short travel needs. #AER FIT PACK 2 VS GORUCK GR1 FULL#
It might work for what your needs are but a hoodie with a binder and a few items might be pretty close to full in the front pocket. It has a decent amount of organization but not a ton. I did a review on the Aer Fit Pack 2, and at the time it was the perfect bag for me. I have been a milsurplus BST since the early 90s and have bought and sold many many packs.
